Dreaming of a house overview
I found a connection and pattern with regular houses that were the stage in my dreams and they are listed below. In regards to my childhood home symbolising ‘life path’, this may be because I was fortunate to live in this home until I left home.
If you have a regular house that you used to live in reappear in different dreams frequently, consider that that house could be symbolising your life path. The significance of why that house continues to be the stage in your dreams, maybe because it was the first home you owned or you lived there for a long time. Try using a few dreams where the same house is the stage to find a theme.
Your house alludes to your life and mind. This is where you know within the dream it is your house.
The current house you live in alludes to a present situation.
Your childhood house alludes to your life path and lessons.
A previous house you lived in alludes to that time in your life, look at the different angles of what you associate with that time in your life to find what fits, you can use a couple of dreams where this place is the stage to connect the dots and once you have identified what it symbolises, it will most likely symbolise the same thing in future dreams.
A house in which you frequently dream of may be symbolising your ‘life path’, and the suburb may be symbolising your ‘life lessons’.

Dreaming of rooms inside of a house
Each room of a house symbolises the different ways that they are used, their functionality and the reason that you use the room, for example, a toilet can symbolise ‘elimination’.
Garage alludes to storage or the movement along your path.
What have you been storing that is being explored within your dream? For example, I dreamt of a fire (emotions) in the garage which was showing me that some stored thoughts I had were damaging me.
Because garages are used to put and keep the car in, the symbolism of your movement along your path is fitting. When I dream of my childhood home (life path and progression) and the scene is in the garage, it relates to either stored aspects along my path or the movement along my path. The latter could be about how my path is stationary because of this matter that the dream is about or where I am keeping myself along my path.
Whoever owns the house or the type of house (rental, etc), will add to what is governing the matter and the condition of it will show you the state of the matter and if it is a positive or negative angle.

Basement alludes to the base of something.
Is this in regards to the foundational aspect or level aspect?
This could be a play on words where the sub-level (the basement is a part of a building that is partly or completely below the level of the ground), could symbolise the ‘sub-conscious’.
Attic alludes to extra room, storage or the mind.
Is this in regards to you having extra space for something in your life, extra space in your mind for other types of thoughts, stored aspects, stored thoughts, etc?
Whoever owns the house or the type of house (rental, etc), will add to what is governing the matter and the condition of it will show you the state of the matter and if it is a positive or negative angle.
Back room alludes to something hidden or out of view.
The condition of the room (old dirty mattress, cracked wall, unleveled floor, etc) will show you the state of the matter and the objects you interacted with, thoughts, dialogue and actions will add to the message of the dream.
Bedroom alludes to private and personal space.
Is this a matter that is private or personal to you? Or was it someone else’s bedroom?
Living room/lounge alludes to social and relaxing.
The condition will show you the state of the matter (everything was one colour, cluttered, junk everywhere, etc), and objects, thoughts, dialogue and actions will add to the message of the dream.
The condition of the room (messy, dirty, distorted, etc) will show you the state of the matter and the objects you interacted with, thoughts, dialogue and actions will add to the message of the dream.
Kitchen alludes to preparing, the stage of a matter, the condition of the matter, consumption and nourishment.
Just to name a few, are you in a stage of preparing something in your life, planning something, or getting ideas, are you at a particular stage with something (mixing the ingredients, baking the cake, or pulling dinner out of the oven, etc), are you confused in a matter (trying to make scrambled eggs, etc)?
Whoevers kitchen it was will be a part of the matter somehow or governing the matter. The condition (dirty dishes everywhere, dirty dishes in the sink, etc) will show you the state of the matter, the objects will show you the ‘aspect that is being prepared, the stage of the aspect, the aspect being consumed, or the nourishing aspect’ and the thoughts, dialogue and actions will add to the message of the dream.

Dining room alludes to a place of sharing, consumption and nourishment.
whoever dining room it was will be a part of the matter somehow or governing the matter. The condition of the dining room (dirty dishes piled on top of the table, etc), the dining rooms objects and details (colours, table size, etc), the type of food (cuisine or particular foodstuff such as fish), the condition of the food (stale, rotten, etc), how you or others were eating (nibbling, plate was full and then you look at your plate and you had finished, etc) the dialogue and interactions with others, and other people will add to the message of the dream.
Bathroom alludes to cleansing.
The condition (cluttered, messy, dirty, etc) will show you the state of what needs to be cleansed, what needs to be cleaned will be identified by objects you interacted with (face cleanser, shampoo, etc), your actions (washing your hands, having a shower, etc,) thoughts and dialogue.
Toilet alludes to elimination.
The condition of the toilet will show you the state you are in with this negative aspect you need to eliminate, the detail of the toilet will give you more information and your thoughts (thinking you need to go, etc) and actions (going toilet, etc) will show you the stage/step you are at with the matter (are you thinking about eliminating, are in the process of eliminating or have eliminated a negative aspect).

Laundry room alludes to cleansing.
What items were a part of this scene, clothes, bedding, etc, will show you what needs to be cleansed. For example, clothes suggest outer persona. Whether you were putting items into the washing machine, waiting for the cycle to finish, pulling the items out, etc, will show you the stage you are at with ‘cleansing’. The condition of the items will show you the state of the matter.
Hallway alludes to transition.
The hallway is used to move from one room to another or to enter or leave the house, the first place is where you are in the matter and the next place is where you are transitioning to.
For example, moving from the bathroom to the lounge suggests cleansing has been done and now a transition to a relaxed position is next.
Dreaming of things inside the house
Inside of the house symbolises your inner self.
Furnishings allude to the atmosphere of the matter the dream is about. In waking life, furnishings around the home make a home livable and give the home character. Each piece of furnishing will most likely symbolise its functionality and how you would use it in waking life.
The condition of the furnishings will show you if the dream or what the element symbolises is a positive or negative angle.
Colour scheme alludes to the general mood or quality of the matter.
For example, I dreamt of the entire inside of a house being turquoise green, the walls, curtains, carpet and furniture, the colour turquoise symbolising my spiritual well-being.
Flooring alludes to what is below you, maybe your foundations.
For example, if the floor was on a slant, is this suggesting that the matter is oblique.
Carpet alludes to what is covering the matter or your path.
The details of the carpet (colour, texture, condition, etc) will show you the information and state of the matter or path, this could be an underlying aspect to help you with the situation.
Walls alludes to foundations.
Ceiling alludes to shelter, protection, the top or height of something.
For example, a high ceiling alludes to there being more to something, more to go, more to understand or high expectations.
Doors allude to an aspect to go through.
The type of door, the condition of it, where the door was going from and to, if the door was opened or closed, and if you walked through it or not will add to the message.
Front door alludes to a main way along your path or entrance/beginning to something.
Back door alludes to a secretive and hidden way along your path.
Ranch slider alludes to you having the view or perspective of what you need to do or experience along your path. Recall what was on the other side of the ranch slider.
Stairs allude to ascending or descending.
The type of stairs, their condition, where the stairs started and ended, and if you went up or down them will add to the message.
For example, I dreamt of going up some steel spiral stairs and halfway up I saw that it was a dead end, this showed me that the solid upward progression that I thought I was on would encounter a dead end. This dream was showing me the outcome of a path that I was on, that I was certain of before seeing where I had not used my discernment around some podcasts and YouTube Channels I was listening to.

Furniture alludes to the function of the furniture, the reason you would use it. It could also represent your style and character.
The detail of the furniture (size, colours, style, etc), the condition of the furniture (dirty, brand new, etc), and your interaction with the piece will add to the message of the dream.
Lounges/sofas allude to rest, comfort, relaxation, lack of motivation or pause.
Cushions allude to a comfortable aspect or matching aspect.
The details and condition of the cushions will add to the message of the dream. Your interaction with them will show you if they are symbolising a comfortable aspect or an aspect that matches another aspect.
Coffee table alludes to convenient support or an aspect that you have on display.
The type of table (size, colours, material, etc), the condition of the table (sturdy, broken, etc), and the objects on the table (foodstuff, books, etc) will add to the message of the dream.

Refrigerator alludes to cooling off, being cold, or nourishment.
What you interact with in the fridge will add to the message.
For example, I dreamt of getting my face toner from the fridge suggesting that I needed to prepare (toner) and nourish (fridge) my character.
Oven and stove alludes to a method and/or stage of the matter.
What was being cooked, any actions and the end result will add to the message.
For example, I dreamt of a partner cooking a chicken and smoke billowing out of the oven warning me of a situation.
Dining room table alludes to support or consumption.
The former is if you were seated at a table and the latter is if you were dining at the table.
Kitchen appliances allude to their functionality or could be a play on words.
Cooking utensils allude to their functionality.
For example, a frying pan suggests that you are ‘frying’ something, that something will most likely be what is in the pan, and the condition of the foodstuff and the process and/or end result will add to the message.
Cookbook alludes to the formula of something.
The type of cuisine would suggest the ‘something’, and the condition of the book shows the state of it.
Maybe you go into the pantry for some food, was it full or empty, what items were in there?
Bowls and Plates allude to the presentation of your nourishment (physical food or ideas, concepts, information, etc).
What was on the plate should show you the state of the nourishment by the condition of the foodstuff.
For example, a whole raw fish on a dinner plate that is met with delight suggests a complete and natural spiritual nourishment is being consumed.
Cups and mugs allude to the quality of a matter.
The detail (colour, size, picture, writing, etc), the condition (clean, dirty, etc), and the contents (milk, water, empty, half full, etc) will add to the message.

Dishes allude to the condition of a matter, most likely in regards to what you are consuming (physical food or ideas, concepts, information, etc).
Were the dishes clean or not showing a positive or negative angle to the matter, were they piled up suggesting the matter needs effort to clean up, were they dirty and in the sink suggesting the matter is ready to be cleaned, etc?
Sink alludes to an element capable of cleansing.
How you used the sink and what you washed will add to the message.
Kitchen bin alludes to what is thrown away.
What was thrown away will show you what you have or should thrown away. The state of the bin (empty, overflowing, etc) will show you the condition of the aspect you have or should throw away.
Washing machine alludes to an element to cleanse an aspect of yourself.
Clothes basket alludes to what needs cleansing.
The items (type, colour, etc), and the condition of the items (dirty, clean, etc) will add to the message.
Vacumm cleaner alludes to cleaning up.
Bed alludes to rest, unawareness or the play on the words ‘to sleep on the matter’.
The state of the bed and bedding will add to the message of the dream.
Mattress alludes to the quality of rest or unawareness or the foundations of an aspect.
Bedding could be the condition and quality of your rest.
Blanket alludes to comfort and warmth.
Bedside dresser/nightside table alludes to something of importance.

Balcony/deck alludes to an external position or view of the matter.
Roof alludes to exterior support and protection or the top covering the matter.
Fence alludes to a barrier.
Gate alludes to security or an aspect you pass through on your path.
Driveway alludes to the entrance or exit to an aspect. This aspect could be private and the owner of the house will add to the message of the dream.
