Dreaming of being chased
Use the pursuer, stage and any other detail you recall, and see what it is that you don’t want to accept, what you can’t handle right now, what are you not ready for, or if there is an expectation required of you that you do not like…
Dreaming of being lost
Dreaming of being lost would connect to feeling that you are unable to find your way with something in your life.
Where are you feeling despondent or doubtful in waking life?
The stage of the dream, (the place or landscape) will help you understand the topic, the condition of the place will show you the state of the matter, thoughts, dialogue, actions and other objects will add to the message of the dream.
For example, dreaming of being lost on a street would suggest being lost on your life path.
Dreaming of being lost could be showing you how you are currently feeling or showing you a possible trajectory if you choose to continue down this path. This dream will help you understand the matter clearly and in-depth so that you will be able to do what is best for you and change or improve the matter.
Dreaming of losing something
Dreaming of losing something would connect to feeling this way somehow and somewhere in your life. Is it related to defeat, failure, or ceasing to keep/retain (something)?
The thing you lose symbolises the thing you have ‘lost’ in waking life.
There was a period where I kept dreaming of either losing, misplacing or forgetting my wallet, this related to me losing, misplacing and forgetting my identity, who I am.
This is a great dream for personal growth.
Losing your wallet alludes to losing who you are, your identity.
Losing your bag alludes to losing your abilities, interests, passions, etc. The type, colour, style and items in the bag and the place will give you the detail of ‘what’ you have lost.
Losing an animal or person alludes to losing the qualities and behaviours they symbolise.
Losing your car keys alludes to losing the means of gaining or understanding something on your path
Losing your car alludes to losing the way on your path.
Dreaming of not finding your car
When you can not find your vehicle, then it’s probably about you not being able to find something on your path.
Try inserting ‘I can not find something on my path’ into the message of the dream where this scene plays out and then the rest of the dream will provide what that something is.
Whatever vehicle you own, the specific vehicle itself may be pointing out something significant, so identify what your association is with it. For example, a bike could be freedom or balance, a campervan could be a lifestyle symbol, etc.
The details of the vehicle that may be different from waking life (colour, size, etc) or any other anomalies (broken back windscreen, flat tyre, etc) will add to the message.
Note: Use the search bar for more information on the different types of vehicles, colours, and the condition of cars or use the tab ‘transportation and travel’
The stage of the dream where you cannot find your car (car park, city streets, etc), interactions with others, actions you play out, and thoughts during this part of the scene will contribute to the ‘thing’ that you cannot find on your path and if this was not the entire dream, the scenes before and after will add to the message
For example, I could not find my vehicle and I went looking for it around the streets and then the scene changed and I saw a lady pushing a pram with a few kids. The lady, pram and kids were showing me ‘what I cannot find on my path.’ The pram is my undeveloped ideas and the kids were my projects. Relating my waking life to when I had that dream = I could not see how my ideas and projects were going to be something, how they were going be a part of my path.
So, the vehicle itself and its details, where you were, and all the other details of the scene will relate to something in your waking life. Are you feeling like you can not find what you are meant to be doing in life, what your purpose is in life, or how a current idea is going to help you?
Understanding the dream helps you understand your situation better, did you dream of a suggestion, tool or answer, is the solution you?
The car can also mean the physical body, look at the dream from this angle and it may be about your physical health.
Dreaming of shopping
Dreaming of shopping, browsing, window shopping, searching for something, undecided on what you are looking for or what to buy, purchasing or returning something alongside the specific retail outlet, the condition of the place and items, your interactions with others and your actions will show you the topic of the dream, the state and stage of the matter…
Dreaming of driving
The way the car is driven alludes to how you are handling a matter, moving along your path and what direction you are going or is it a play on the word ‘drive’ and symbolising ‘what drives you’…
Dreaming of swimming
Dreaming of swimming in different bodies of water and how you are swimming can be associated with your spiritual pillar.
Swimming alludes to movement along your spiritual path…
Dreaming of napping and sleeping
Where you take a nap or sleep will connect to what this is symbolising.
For example, if you took a nap in an office on a chair, is this about your career or personal work and effort?
What happened before and afterwards will give you the angle to view this scene (thoughts, dialogue, actions, other elements). For example, the start of a dream of mine was me waking up in bed to the sunrise, and this was showing me to pay attention to a new beginning in my life.
A nap alludes to a restful pause to refresh, struggling to pay attention or being overworked.
Sleep alludes to unawareness, so what do you need to wake up to and be aware of?
The difference between thinking about the action and doing it can help you know the stage you are at. Thinking about it could be a suggestion and doing the action can be the current phase you are in.
Waking up late or oversleeping alludes to missing something if you are not aware or ready.
